Ordinary Power Wheelchair goes on Sand

Hi guys! How are you?.. let me know in the comments I'd love to hear from you. This video was inspired by a guy named Shane Burcaw. He had shared a very unique innovative way how he was able to get his powerized wheelchair onto the sand.

In this video my mom wanted a little getaway to the beach and she was determined to get me onto the sand! I showed her a video of Shane going on the beach using his wheelchair and yoga mats. She ordered Yoga Mats on amazon, planned a getaway to the beach, and with the help of my family I was able to go onto the sand. I am 21 right now and the last time I was able to be on the sand I was around 6 years old. Beach wheelchairs do exist, but they aren’t available everywhere and to buy one is and can be pricy.

If you or someone you know would like to go to the beach and be on the sand all you will need is yoga mats (I got thick yoga mats, but either should work). I am using a powerized wheelchair and I am not sure how a manual wheelchair would work because of it's smaller tire size.
