I’ve had and I’ve lost, but I always gained in the end

I was born with a disability known as SMA Type Two (Spinal Muscular Atrophy). “I was able to do things today and I’ve had things taken from me tomorrow.” I used to be able to push myself in a manual wheelchair and I now have to use a powerized wheelchair. I used to be able to stand and now I can’t. I was able to use both my hands and now I’m unable to. I experienced being able to reach for the sky and now to barely being able to reach for what’s right in front of me. My take away from this is this.. “You’ve been in situations where you thought you’d never make it out, but you did. You’ve lived through it. You’ve learned from it. You’ve survived. So whatever it is that you’re currently going through right now, you’ll get through that too. Believe it! You are resilient!” ~Victortheinspiration
