The Enemy Within

Pay attention closely for these next words will be much more than just letters put together.

The thing about life is the more you try staying positive the more life will attack you in any and every way it can.

Mentally: When you are trying to stay positive while your whole world seems to be in complete chaos.

Physically: Your health starts to experience some changes that become a concern.

Emotionally: When you are trying to hold yourself together because you feel tired of going through this constant cycle of desperation.

Spiritually: You have been going through so much you start to question God asking why, why, why feeling defeated.

Financially: Everything that seems to be the solution to all of your problems feels like it’s money.

This is what I have learned:

When your whole world feels like it is falling apart. What if everything is actually coming together?

When your health isn’t doing the greatest. What if it is actually trying to show you something?

When your mind is overwhelmed with everything. What if life is trying to prepare you for what’s to come?

When you’re feeling defeated, alone, and scared. What if God is trying to bring you closer?

When your problems feel like money is your ultimate solution. What if your mindset needs a fresh approach to such problem?

In January, 2020. It isn’t no secret I had lost myself. I felt defeated. Despite the people around me I felt alone. I became tired of fighting for so long. It had felt that money would have fixed everything for me.

The problem right in front of you whether it is something you are going through mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually, even financially. It isn’t so much the problem that is the real issue, even when it entirely feels and looks that way. The root to the problem is something I personally call “the enemy within”. Because it is our mindset with the problem that will alter the outcome.

How I had approached my problems, especially in January 2020 was not the right approach. It lead me to being forced and put on a psychiatric hold for several days.

With the time to come I began to have a completely different approach to not only whatever problems in front of me, but I began to have a different perspective to such problems. Perspectives that were healthier.

“You may not understand it now, but one day you will.”

From me to you: If what I had just mentioned resonated with you in any way. Don’t be afraid to become a work in progress. The more practice you begin by becoming aware of “the enemy within” you create the opportunity to heal everything that hurts within. This journey alone is not an overnight thing it is a process. Where there lies a challenge also lies a blessing in disguise for you.

“Seek the purpose in life’s happenings.”

I wrote a song from beginning to end titled “The Enemy Within”. If you haven’t already go give it a listen: https://youtu.be/IWDEsYK_Mj4?si=ANzKS6YNF5BcRZCK
