Victortheinspiration's 4 Life Keys

My 4 life keys are this:

  1. Have Gratitude
  2. Have Faith
  3. Learn
  4. Grow

1. Have Gratitude for the blessings you do have and if you can’t find any here are a few that I 100% know you could be grateful for. If you can breathe, that is a blessing because there is someone in the hospital experiencing their last days right this second. If you can see, that is a blessing because some people are blind. If you can hear, that is a blessing because there are people who are deaf. If you can talk, that is a blessing because some people have to use a device to voice their needs. If you can walk, that is a blessing because there are people who wish they could run being in a wheelchair. The fact that you are reading this, seeing this, and has access to the internet is another blessing because not everyone has what you have.

2. Have Faith that things could get better because they will. I am going to let you in on a little secret though. The way Faith works is you have to participate (meaning put in effort) to the very thing you are praying and hoping for. When God sees you trying and I mean really trying God will start aligning the things you need to not only help you with where you currently are, but God will help you breakthrough your situation helping you every step of the way as you move forward.

3. Learn from what it is you don’t know. Learn from your actions and reflect off of you and who you no longer wish to become. You are your greatest teacher and life lesson, however only if you are willing to learn to better yourself. The best thing you can do is learn from those who are living the way you hope for. If someone is smiling and you know they are genuinely happy, ask them what is it that they do to smile. And if you are anyone like me sometimes the things we hope for (such as having more abundant positive thoughts when I was going through a really hard time with my mental health) is I utilized the internet finding people on YouTube that I knew could help me. Steve Harvey, Tony Robbins, Gary Vee are a few when I seeked warming thoughts. When I wanted tough love and someone to lay it out on me with hard truth I seeked content from Dan Peña, David Goggins and Grant Cardone just to name a few. We live in a world with so much free education that many use their devices for entertainment, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing because laughter is the best medicine, but further your education, especially when you can. You can search up just about anything on YouTube. “How to be more positive” “How to get through life’s toughest moments” “How can I be a better person” “How to…” has the potential to help you, however only if you are willing to learn and actually do the work to help you get from point A to point B.

4. Grow. My utmost favorite saying is “grow through what you go through.” Whatever situation I am in I always tell myself to grow from it. How? Within every challenge we face there lies an opportunity for you to grow. Ex: When I was in the hospital in the ICU I was in a position where I genuinely didn’t think I would wake up to see another light of day the next morning. (Many times I felt like this). In situations such as this it is very hard to think “everything happens for a reason” let alone to even believe to grow from my situation. Did I wake up? I did and many days after too. “Within every challenge lies an opportunity to grow.” This was a challenge and the opportunity within this challenge is I had the opportunity to practice my patience and develop my faith when there had seemed to be no hope. The situations we face on a day to day holds the ability to help deliver us the strengths needed to endure tomorrow.
